In the ever constant need to incorporate the old with the new, we are making some updates to our site.  Since the updates are more about function than they are about form, you should not have any problems adjusting to the new layout.  We intend to keep the look and feel of the original site, but some things may need to change (such as Apparitions).

New capabilities are already incorporated include:

• Comments: Leave comments on most of  the posts and a few of the pages across our site to share your experiences, ask questions, or reply to other Visitors who also leave comments
• RSS and Atom News Feeds: Follow our website remotely and keep track of any new additions or changes without the need to visit our site regularly.  This also allows You, our Followers and Fans, to promote and broadcast our links to websites and devices all around the world.
• Advanced Media: Clicking on many of the photos, Videos, and Music links across the site provide a more intimate view.
• Search Engines: A Search Bar is located at the top of every page.  Widgets are also available in the Right Sidebar of every page allowing all of our posts to be sorted by Category Topic, Keyword Tag, and Date of Publishing.
• Trackbacks and Pingbacks: If you have a blog or publish your own posts in similar services, adding any of our hyperlinks into any of your posts will automatically create Mutual Return Links in the Comment regions of both our posts and yours.  This helps provide link traffic, and it increases both your page rank in similar engines.  Just be sure to use the link to the most appropriate post on our site instead of the homepage whenever possible.
• Sharing and Saving: At the end of every post and page is a Share/Save button that allows You to Share your favorite posts and pages through Email, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Yahoo!, Windows, and similar sites.  The same button also allow you to Save the links to your favorite posts and pages to web browsers, news aggregators, and other services like Delicious, Digg, Reddit, and Google Bookmarks.
• Advanced Cell Phone Support: Owners of the Apple iPhone, Apple iPod Touch, and Google Android phones such as the T-Mobile G1 and the T-Mobile MyTouch can explore our website while on the go.  Apple iPhone and iPod Touch users can also set our website on their home screen.

We also intend to add the capability for:

• Podcasts: Download copies of our weekly radio show ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ (as well as other media) to your computer, iPhone, iPod, Sony PSP, Zune, PDA, advanced cell phone, and other electronic devices.
• Media Archives: Enjoy recordings of our previous shows on Radio Maria as well as other recordings we add to the site.  You may also be able to download these recordings to your electronic devices.
• Memberships: (We may not provide this capability, but if we do,) You will be able to become a registered member of the site, and depending upon your particular permissions, you may also be able to contribute posts and other media.
