The World Around Us Is Falling Apart.
How many times do you look at your watch or clock each day to check on the time? How many times do you check on the weather each day before you make plans especially if there are outdoor activities? Knowing the time is an important part of life in making decisions. In some situations it could mean life or death.
On the front page of this website (www.comeholyspirit-tkc.com) Cardinal Karol Wojtyla (Blessed Pope John Paul ll) spoke of the great historical confrontation between good and evil and that it was a battle that the church must go through. It is a battle between the church and the anti-church; the gospel and the anti-gospel and the Christ and the anti-Christ.
Next month I will celebrate 40 years as a priest. In those 40 years I have seen much but I have never, never, never seen what I am seeing in these days. The prophecy of Blessed John Paul II is being fulfilled in front of our own eyes.
The world around us is falling apart with wars, cataclysmic events, moral depravity, political corruption in all the government institutions, and sad to say even in the church.
We have thrown God out of our government ,the universities, law schools, medical schools, arts, entertainment industry, families, and again in some instances even the church. Priest against Priest; Bishop against Bishop and Cardinal against Cardinal. Open rebellion against Pope Benedict XVl. Much more could be added to this list.
I do not mean to be negative but I must say what I hopefully believe the Holy Spirit and Mary are saying to me during these times. These are the times that Our Lady of Fatima spoke of in 1917.
- Get right with God asap. Catholics, go to confession and repent of all sin especially sexual sins. Don’t put this off, TIME is short.
- Go to Mary and cry out to her for protection for ALL people. Pray and fast for the salvation of all souls. Pray the rosary and the divine mercy chaplet. Frequent the mass and receive the eucharist
- Unite with all Christians seeking to serve and love Jesus Christ.
- Form small faith groups to share the gospel and truth. Learn to love and serve one another.
- Get filled with the Holy Spirit and share this grace with everyone
This year of 2012 is a turning point for the world. I believe that all souls will be given the grace to recognize their sins and will also be given the grace to repent. We will be given the opportunity to choose life or death. We either accept mercy or judgment. The choice will be ours.
I am not, I repeat, I am not talking about the end of the world but I am indeed talking about tribulation and chastisement.
The Immaculate Heart of Mary is our strength and hope. She will protect us through all. We need to stand under her mantle of protection as she steps on the head of our ancient enemy.
Fr. Ed Wade, CC
Amen Father Ed !! Praise God that you have the cajones to tell the truth–God’s truth. May He continue to bless you and may your words inspire other members of the clergy to do the same. While it is great to hear of God’s love for us; it is also important to know that some action is required on our part. We miss you here in Houston—Thank you
Thanks for encouraging Fr. Ed, Syvie. You know he is in the Catholic Charismatic Center tonight, Thurs. 28 June, at 7.30, for a great, big Eucharistic celebration and a talk to rouse your spirit and set you on fire. Hope you can get there, bring your friends. Blessings, Elizabeth
Thanks, Fr. Ed, for being a priest who listens to the Spirit, who ruminates on what he hears, waits for conviction then tells us, no matter the personal cost at the hands of those who who do not hear the drumbeat of the coming Kingdom. Thank you for being our watchman on the wall.
Some who sleep may think, at first glance, that there is nothing new in what you say here, but it has rarely been said so succinctly, with such personal conviction and with such urgency. The clock is ticking, we approach the midnight hour and our oil, if we have any at all, burns dark with unconscious sin and lack of understanding of the seriousness of the hour. I hope and pray that this simple letter, saturated in prayer, will break through in a way that all the prophecies and rhetoric may have failed to do. There is no mistaking the depth of your concern for all of us and we bless Our Lady for keeping us safe! You brought it home, Fr. Ed.
Thank you.
